The 15th Annual Fountain Elms Invitational will held on July 1, 2012. This show is limited to award winning pre-war vehicles displayed by invitation only. While many of the vehicles at the Invitational are full Classics, there is always an interesting mix of brass, antique and commercial vehicles also invited.

The Invitational is held on the landscaped grounds surrounding Fountain Elms, a restored Victorian house museum, located on the campus of the Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute in Utica, NY. This Italianate mansion, together with its fountain, gazebo and Victorian gardens, provides an elegant setting for the display of antique vehicles.

On Sunday morning Invitational participants begin their day with a champagne continental breakfast at which time they receive a gift basket of local products. Next, their vehicles are professionally photographed by the fountain in front of Fountain Elms. At noon all participants are treated to a luncheon on the mansion’s enclosed and air conditioned terrace.

The Fountain Elms Invitational awards ceremony is held at the gazebo beginning at 3:30 pm. At this time all participants are recognized and receive a bottle of “Fountain Elms” champagne and the completed photo plaque of their vehicle in front of the mansion. A total of 10 Waterford crystal trophies are presented to the winners in various categories.
