Wedded Perfection: Two Centuries of Wedding Gowns presents more than 50 gowns dating from the 1700s to today. Wedding gowns are the site of incredible artistry and design. The wedding dress is often the most expensive piece of clothing a woman will ever wear and the one garment in which she is assured the rapturous attention of everyone in attendance. Wedded Perfection includes historic European-made gowns to cutting-edge modern designers including Christian Dior, Paco Rabanne, Geoffrey Beene, Zac Posen, and Vera Wang. Discounted group admission of $8 per person; for tours or viewing on your own.

The Afternoon Tea, Gourmet Salad Lunch, Gourmet Chicken Lunch and Champagne Brunch are served on the Terrace of Fountain Elms, a Victorian-era Italianate mansion. Included with each is a 45-minute guided tour of the exhibition or, for an additional fee, an exclusive talk by the exhibition curator.

Enhance your group’s experience with an exclusive talk by the exhibition curator. A 45-minute focused or themed talk by the Museum curator (in place of a guided tour) is available for an additional $5 per person.

Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute: The Museum of Art  features a renowned art collection, exhibitions, and education programs presented in a famous museum building designed by Philip Johnson and a superbly restored Victorian mansion, Fountain Elms. Performing arts include international soloists and ensembles, rising stars, cinema, outdoor concerts and special events.
