The Performing Arts Division presents more than 100 events year-round featuring international soloists and ensembles, rising stars, cinema, concerts with commentary, children's programs and special events. The Great Artists Series, Concerts in the Court, Keyboard Conversations, Young Artists Series, For Kids and Families and Special Events bring world-class performers to MWPAI and enrich the lives of everyone in attendance. The Film Series presents international quality cinema each week.

Great Artists Series
For more than 70 years, the Great Artists Series has been synonymous with world-class entertainment, offering performances by the finest international soloists and ensembles. Treat yourself to the world's most brilliant artists.

Concerts in the Court
The Concerts in the Court series presents the best in jazz and contemporary music. These Saturday evening performances are presented in the Museum of Art Root Sculpture Court.

Keyboard Conversations®
Concerts with commentary are presented by the world-renowned concert pianist, Jeffrey Siegel, in his trademark Keyboard Conversations. Concerts combine an insightful and entertaining prologue, a full performance of the works and a lively question and answer session.

Superb family entertainment to delight your entire family. These performances are fun, stimulating and entertaining for kids and adults. Enjoy the magic, crazy and inspired puppets, drama, singers and storytellers, and just plain fun of For Kids and Families.

Young Artists Series
Thrill to exciting performances by these dynamic artists destined for international stardom. Come early for preconcert talks at 1:30 p.m. and enjoy meeting the artists at receptions in the Edward W. Root Sculpture Court following each concert.

Special Events
Each season, MWPAI presents several exciting special events. In 2007-2008, we're proud to offer a performance by Salvage Vanguard Theatre in The Intergalactic Nemesis, Battleworks Dance Company, and Follies: In Concert by Players of Utica.
