Bryan McGrath

Ceramics and Pottery

Bryan joined the faculty in 1985 as head of the ceramics department. He had previously been the Resident/Director of the Ceramics Program and Board Member at the Firehouse Art Center in Norman, Oklahoma. He has exhibited nationally and internationally. Bryan received his master of fine arts degree from Syracuse University, where he was a Graduate Fellow. His work has been featured in several articles in ceramics publications including A Potter's Professional Handbook, by Steven Branfman and Studio Potter magazine. His travels include research and study trips to Japan and Ireland. Bryan’s work is in private collections in the U.S., Japan, Australia, and Ireland. His work is in public collections that include the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art, Oklahoma University, College of Visual and Performing Arts, Syracuse University, and Museum of Art, Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute.
