Activities will include collage, sculpture, painting and drawing. This class will also help children with social interaction through group activities. ARTBOX I & II
Ages 6 to 12 (age requirement is strictly followed)
Youngsters attend art classes from 9 to 11:30 a.m., providing them ample time to work on creative projects and to experience several areas of art.
Each ArtBox class is divided into two, seven-week sessions. One group meets with the drawing/painting instructors for the first seven weeks, while the other group attends the clay/sculptural media classes. At mid-semester, the groups exchange so that all students participate in each media. (Please supply your child with a snack each day).
*All ArtBox I and II students will meet in the School of Art Gallery for the first meeting on Saturday, January 19 at 9 a.m.
Materials fees are included in tuition for children's art classes. It is recommended that children bring an old shirt to wear as a smock in class.
