Originally trained at Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute, Lynn later studied and performed with the Syracuse Ballet Theater under the direction of Anthony and Sirpa Salatino. She continued her education at SUNY Purchase, where she studied ballet under Jacques D’Amboise, Royes Fernandez, Rosanna Seravelli, and Bettijane Sills, and modern dance under Kazuko Hirabayashi, Carol Fried, Mell Wong, and Gina Carmany. Lynn was co-director of the Utica Dance Works from 1984 to 1989, Instructor of Ballet at the Jewish Community Center, summers 1978 and 1979, Jane Russell McDermid School of Dance 1982 to 1989, and the MWPAI School of Dance, 1983 to present.
