Beginning Jewelry | AFTERNOONS*

with Shannon Stockbridge | Beginners    

Learn creative fine metalworking through demonstrations and projects geared toward the beginning jeweler. Techniques include sawing, piercing, texturing, riveting, chain making, soldering, and bezel-setting cabochon stones. Students utilize class and lab time to practice techniques and make finished pieces of jewelry. A starter materials kit ($21) can be purchased at the School of Art Reception Desk at the first class. 

**Intermediate/Advanced Jewelry Studio: This studio time is also designated for intermediate and advanced jewelry students who are fabricating independent projects.
