Beethoven and Schubert - A Musical Kinship

Beethoven and Schubert admired each other immensely and, though they lived and worked in the same city, only met on a handful of occasions. Schubert was particularly influenced by Beethoven’s genius, while Beethoven was impressed with Schubert’s expressive compositions. Mr. Siegel will explore their mutual admiration through Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata and humorous Bagatelles, and Schubert's soulful Impromptus and vivacious Waltzes
