Join master gardener Herbert Sorensen for a discussion about giving your flowers (and vegetables) the best growth potential using composted materials. Sorensen will share his knowledge and secrets for attaining glorious blooms and plant yields using a carefully crafted method of making a compost “tea” to use in your gardens. Participants will be given his personal recipe and a sample to bring home.

Instructor Herbert Sorensen has been an organic gardener for over 50 years and has won several awards for his outstanding produce. He lives with his wife in Morris, New York, where he shares his knowledge of gardening, and the spoils therein, with family, friends and neighbors.

The class registration fee includes admission to the Art in Bloom exhibition.
