MINI-COURSE | Salt Fired Ceramics

With Veronica Byun
Ages 18 + | Intermediate- Advanced
Thursdays | 6 - 9 pm
4 Classes | 12 Contact hours

Salt firing is embraced by ceramic artists and potters because of the beautiful and unanticipated results that come from a salt-fired kiln. These four-week workshops will explore form, function, aesthetic values, textures, tactile qualities, and surface development of atmospheric firing through salt. All works will be made from start to finish during the workshop.

FIRING TICKETS
Firing fees are based on the measured volume of the finished pieces. Firing tickets are $2 each and available for purchase at the School of Art reception desk during business hours.

MATERIAL FEES
Required material fees cover the cost of full use of studio clay and glazes.
