Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute was founded through the foresight and planning of Thomas, Frederick and Maria Proctor. The magnificent art gallery building, restored Fountain Elms, Art College, and grounds are a testament to the power of the planned gift and a well-managed endowment.
The FOUNDERS SOCIETY recognizes and honors those friends and members of the Institute who have thoughtfully provided for the Institute's future. By including the Institute in your estate plans, you are ensuring that MWPAI will be able to continue to build upon the strength of its collection and education programs and remain the premier arts facility of its kind. To become a member of the FOUNDERS SOCIETY, you need to notify us that your will or life income arrangement provides for Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute.
MWPAI offers many planned giving opportunities, all of which can be tailored to meet your specific financial and estate planning needs. A planned gift to MWPAI offers many advantages, including the opportunity to:
- Increase current income to yourself and/or spouse or family
- Convert low-yielding or non-income producing assets into lifelong income
- Reduce or eliminate capital gains costs and/or estate tax liability
- Enjoy a significant income tax deduction
- Make a significant donation to Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute
A booklet is available which outlines how to include MWPAI in your will, the benefits of a charitable remainder trust, how to name MWPAI as the beneficiary of an insurance policy or retirement plan, and how to make other life income gifts.
