NORMAN ROCKWELL VISIBLE STUDIO: Multi-Figure Painting in the Museum of Art
Ages 18 + | All Levels | With Yulia Levkovich
Create vivid, full-figure compositions inspired by this summers Norman Rockwell exhibition. This class takes place in the Museum of Art Sculpture Court where students may take breaks and visit Rockwell's full-scale oil paintings for inspiration. Focus on light and shadow, color and surface to paint strong figures from head to toe. Working from multiple clothed models in a single pose for the semester, students understand proportions, the structure of the body, features, and narrative while honing oil painting skills. Required materials list provided.
